General
RogueBoard is a UK-based development platform for students and early-career individuals. It combines a library of 280+ real projects, training courses, mentorship, and a verified credential system — built around one framework: Learn, Build, Prove, Earn, Scale, Network, Exit.
Three groups: students and early-career individuals building real experience, enterprise employers looking to hire on evidence rather than a CV, and educators extending their courses into real-world application.
Joining as a student and taking part in projects is free. Enterprise and educator access may involve a different arrangement depending on the service — get in touch for specifics.
RogueBoard is UK-based and UK/EU-focused, though projects and contributors aren't limited to any one location.
For Students
No. Many projects and roles are beginner-friendly — check the Difficulty rating and each role's required skills on a project's page before applying.
Browse the Active Projects library by category, or filter to the domain you're aiming to build experience in. Each listing shows scope, duration, location, and open roles up front.
Yes, as long as you can realistically meet the time commitment for each. Overcommitting affects your ability to deliver — and your credential record.
Start with Personal Development & Experiments — several of these are self-directed, lower-commitment ways to explore a direction before joining a team project.
Projects & Credentials
No — all RogueBoard projects are unpaid. What you earn instead is real experience, a portfolio piece, and a verified credential or reference.
Yes. Every project is scoped by a real company or founder, not a hypothetical exercise. Once the project founder approves your finished deliverable, it goes into real-world use — a real brand, product, or launch.
A verified record tied to a specific completed project, confirming what you delivered and to what standard — checkable by future employers or clients, not just a self-reported claim.
You hand over the agreed deliverables, the project closes out, and you receive a credential plus any portfolio evidence (files, screenshots, testimonials) tied to that project.
Yes, but try to hand off your work cleanly and let your Project Lead know in advance. An abrupt exit can affect your credential record for that project.
RogueBoard's library is organised into 6 broad categories (like Creative & Media or Tech, Digital & Systems), each split into more specific subcategories (like Branding Concepts or Website Builds) — 100 subcategories in total.
Sponsors & Enterprise
Request access via the Investors & Designers page. Once onboarded, you can scope and submit a real brief into the relevant category for students to claim.
This depends on the arrangement — some briefs are posted directly, others through a partnership agreement. Get in touch to discuss what fits.
Every contributor's completed projects and credentials are checkable — you can review real, verified delivery history rather than relying on a CV alone.
Yes — this is exactly what the Exit layer of RogueBoard's framework is built for, including Talent Placement and the Job Board.
Educators
Register as an educator via the Investors & Designers page to connect your course outcomes to real project briefs in the Learn and Build layers.
That depends on your institution's own policies — RogueBoard provides the verified project record and credential; how it's applied academically is between you and your institution.
Account & Data
It's used to process your early access request and get in touch about relevant projects or opportunities — nothing more.
Email Joseph@rogueboard.co.uk and we'll process the request in line with UK GDPR.
RogueBoard is built with UK/EU data protection requirements in mind. If you have specific questions about data handling, reach out directly.
