Why a portfolio of real work beats a CV

Every CV says roughly the same thing: motivated, detail-oriented, a fast learner. None of it is checkable, so hiring managers learn to discount it. What they can check is work — something you built, for someone real, that either shipped or it didn't.

A line on a CV vs. a project someone can open

"Worked on marketing campaigns" tells an employer nothing about what you actually did, how good it was, or whether anyone besides you thinks so. A live brand identity, a shipped feature, a campaign with real numbers attached — that's something they can open, read, and judge for themselves.

This is the gap RogueBoard is built to close. You pick a real project from a real organisation, work it through a structured process, and finish with something an employer can actually check — not a self-reported bullet point.

Proof compounds, claims don't

One finished, verifiable project is worth more than a page of adjectives. A handful of them, across different problems, starts to look like a track record — which is exactly what gets you past the CV screen and into the room.
